hat we’re looking for:

We are currently seeking a full-time direct-hire Therapist for an Outpatient Clinic. The Therapist provides a broad range of Therapeutic and psychiatric social work services to individuals with a mental health, substance use, physical health, or co-occurring disorders.

This position has a pay rate of $25.00 per hr. and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Work Hours: 10:00am-5:00pm (no weekends)

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field
  • LLMSW or LMSW
  • CAADC is preferred
  • At least one (1) year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illnesses, substance use disorders and/or developmental disabilities.
  • A valid State of Michigan Driver's License and an acceptable driving record

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide individual and group therapy for individuals with Mental Health or Co-Occurring disorders.
  • Conduct intakes and submit treatment recommendations.
  • Ensure regular assessments are conducted with a person-centered approach for those receiving services.
  • Maintain an audit-ready case load at all times.
  • Keep accurate documentation for successful entry into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and timely billing.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and stress management.
  • Make immediate responses to emergencies and referrals to supportive services.
  • Collaborate with families, staff, and community service providers, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills essential for providing mental health services to patients and their natural support systems.
  • Exhibit knowledge of principles and processes for delivering customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
